This cattle ranch engagement session was just the BEST! Where do I even begin..  Lauren is a best friend of one of my 2022 brides. She reached out to me and I was so bummed that I was booked for their wedding day but so honored I could do this engagement session with them!

I was super excited when they told me they wanted to have their engagements shot on Johnny’s 6th generation cattle ranch in Jackson, California. So special and so cool! The open fields were perfect for our vision. Lauren’s 5 year old son led the way out to the fields on his little quad, opening and shutting the gates as we went, it was seriously adorable. Fire season caught up to us on the day of the session with a fire from a couple hours away spreading smoke and covering the sky but you’d honestly never know. You can see how sweet Johnny is to Lauren in the photos! It was a blast watching them laugh together and running around the cattle ranch fields with them. While I can’t be there to document their upcoming big day, I’m so excited to see moments from their day!
